Windows
Windows: Alt codes
Hold Alt, type the code on the numeric keypad with Num Lock on, then release Alt. Codes with a leading zero use code page 1252 and work in every Windows program. Laptops without a keypad: use the Word method below or copy the character.
No Alt code exists for ź ż ƶ ȥ ɀ ʐ ʑ ẑ ẓ ẕ ⱬ: use Alt+X, the US-International layout, or copy them from this page.
Windows: Alt+X in Word and Outlook
Type the hex code and press Alt+X. This works for every form of z, including the ones that have no Alt code.
Mac
Mac: Option key
Press the Option combination, release it, then type the letter. Capitals: hold Shift while typing the letter.
Mac: press and hold
Hold the z key until the accent menu appears, then click the form or press its number. The English keyboard menu shows ź ż ž.
iPhone and Android
Touch and hold the z key, slide to the form you need and release. The English keyboard shows ź ż ž; add the language keyboard in Settings for the others.
Linux and Chromebook
