Typing Lithuanian on your keyboard
The Lithuanian layout puts ą č ę ė į š ų ū ž straight onto the number row, so all nine letters are single keystrokes and the digits move to AltGr. Nothing needs a dead key. On an English, Polish or Russian keyboard none of the nine exist, so use the Alt codes, the Mac ABC. Extended ogonek and caron dead keys, or the copy buttons here.
