Windows: Alt codes
Hold Alt, type the code on the numeric keypad with Num Lock on, then release Alt. Codes with a leading zero use code page 1252 and work in every Windows program. Laptops without a keypad: use the Word method below or copy the character.
No Alt code exists for ś ş ș ŝ ſ ȿ ʂ ṡ ṣ ṥ ṧ ṩ: use Alt+X, the US-International layout, or copy them from this page.
Windows: Alt+X in Word and Outlook
Type the hex code and press Alt+X. This works for every form of s, including the ones that have no Alt code.

With the Compose key enabled, press the sequence shown in the table. Ctrl+Shift+U followed by the hex code, then Space, works in GTK apps and on Chromebooks.
