Typing Catalan on your keyboard
Catalan is written on the Spanish keyboard: the acute, grave and diaeresis dead keys cover à è é í ò ó ú ï ü, and ç has its own key. The one awkward character is the punt volat in col·legi and intel·ligent, which is the middle dot U+00B7 and needs AltGr+period. never a full stop and never the legacy Ŀ ŀ letters. Remember also that Catalan does not use ¿ or ¡, and that à only ever takes the grave while í and ú only ever take the acute.
Hard to type on the Spanish (Spain) QWERTY. Catalan uses the Spanish layout layout
