Typing Norwegian on your keyboard
The Norwegian layout puts æ, ø and å on dedicated keys, and the acute, grave and circumflex dead keys give é è ê ó ò ô for words like kafé, òg and fôr. Everything Norwegian needs is therefore on the board. Trouble appears only on English keyboards or when the layout switches by accident, which is what the Alt codes and Mac shortcuts on this site are for.
