Typing Welsh on your keyboard
Welsh has seven vowels. a e i o u w y. so it needs ŵ and ŷ alongside the usual â ê î ô û, and no British keyboard has any of them on a key. The United Kingdom Extended layout supplies them all through AltGr: AltGr+6 then the letter for the to bach, AltGr and the vowel for the acute, AltGr+grave for the grave, AltGr+semicolon for the didolnod. Without that layout, use the Alt codes, the Mac ABC. Extended circumflex dead key, or the copy buttons on this page.
